My First Basketball Game.

Well.. i shouldve made this post a while ago but i forgot!!!
Well anyways i had my first basketball game a couple of weeks ago and it went way better than i thought.I was so ridiculously nervous i couldnt even handle it but thats just how i am about everything. I did not start but i got in right away. In the end we lost by about 2 points i think, but we definitely did way better than everyone thought we were going to do. I did not make any points that game but i have been doing better lately!
This was just a short little post all about my first basketball game in high school!

Basketball Update

This post is going to be really short just explaining a bit about what i think of basketball so far.
Im not very excited to continue playing to be honest.
I absolutely have no time to do anything and with my job i definitely don't have time to do anything.
I love to play basketball but i dont have fun now. I'm too nervous all the time to have any fun at all and im sick of my coach already and how she treats me. Always getting yelled at and whatever. i guess i just can't handle it when people yell at me.
Whatever.
And i've been noticing im just cranky all the time now. And i really don't like that.
We have practice every day, and im the type of person to give up on something trust me. But this is something i thought i would be able to handle, but im not sure it is.
Practice makes me nervous, and i don't think being nervous ALL THE TIME is good for me.
I hope people don't think im just giving up, but im just letting you know whats the sense in playing, if im not having fun and it makes me so nervous.
If you can help me in anyway please let me know, shoot me an email or something because im in big need of some help right now.

ps. the reason i want to continue is because i want to be able to put on my resume i played a sport in high school  or my college apps something like that. and i want to be like my sister that played basketball and softball.... im just very confused.

My First High School Sport: The Beginning

Hi Everyone!
Todays post is going to be on my first high school sport experience which i havent completed yet.
Tomorrow, Monday 11/17/2013 i will be starting my freshmen year basketball season.
I absolutely love basketball and have always loved it! I played all through middle school etc..
But this year is my freshmen basketball which is on JV i always saw people  play like my older sister and i just admired everyone on the high school basketball team.
And now im actually going to be a part of that.
My name on the roster, my own jersey, but im really nervous
Im scared people wont like me, and they will act like i suck and maybe i will.
Im scared the drills will be too hard, and i will get yelled at a lot and make my team lose.
Im scared about my job, and what will happen when i practice all the time.
Im scared people will talk about me and say stuff about how i cant do this cant do that blah blah
Im scared i wont be as good as everyone else
Im scared i will get hurt..









I just am never very good at anything and my friend has always been :Better: than me at a lot of things and people always recognize her for being so great at basketball when i dont think shes any better than me


Basketball is supposed to be based around fundamentals. its not supposed to be like football. Its not supposed to be a full contact sport but it has turned into that
last year during their first practice someone broke their collar bone and someone tore their rotator cuff..... so really
???


instead of focusing on the pushing shoving flopping on the floor etc dont you think you should focus on being able to handle the ball so people dont get hurt as much.... yeah i know!!

well i will fill you in on all the crap that goes on etc and let you know how i feel about it after i get into the season a bit.

My First embarrassing moment in front of the whole school!

Well last embarrassing first moment, not everyone noticed... but this one everyone had to notice!
We were all sitting at lunch just messing around since it was a half day, and we had quite a bit of time to do nothing. So we were just messing around per usual, and our old english teacher gets onto the stage set up for the play dressed up really embarrassing, and she told everyone to be quiet so we all just listened. She said we are going to draw names for the person who will win the halloween prize for AR... you got your name in a drawing every 5 points your read and i had gotten 17 so i wouldve been in there 3 times. So she had someone draw and shes like "Jacy!" and i was just like REAAAALLLLYYYYY.]! and people were like saying my name from my class like idiots and other people behind me said it too, but im not sure who they were. But i was just really embarrassed and wished i wouldnt had won. So a guy brought me this little pumpkin basket with a few packs of skittle starburst and m&ms... Then i got my picture taken which will probably be on the school website! lucky me! 
Im happy i won  but i dont want everyone to think that i just read all the time and am so smart because i most certainly dont read all the time.. the only reason i got 17 points was because at the very last second before 
AR was due i took a test on a book that i only read half of and guessed on the rest of the questions... so what im trying to say is i wont want to be recognized for being a nerd or something.. you know?
I personally want everyone to recognize me for playing basketball but that probably will never happen.

My first big embarrassment in high school!

Hey everyone!
today is a short post just because it is important i get it done but i have algebra.. literally kill me now!


So, today was interesting. In the mornings we always play volleyball in the gym, and after we eat lunch just to blow off some steam and have fun. Well we got done eating and my friend Sierra and I, walked down to the gym got a ball and started to play.. Then everyone else started to come down to the gym, got volleyballs out and started to have a "war" i will call it. by serving the volleyballs as fast and hard as they could..  just like idiots. and remember we have big guys serving these things really fast. But our little group playing an actual game in a circle didn't really care because we were in the corner. We were playing and i was actually doing good, and everyone was serving and balls were coming at us but we didn't really care. Then the ball went up, and i said "Got it!" so Tanner didn't run into me, and i looked up ready to bump it and i got absolutely smoked in the face with the volleyball.. Right in the face. And most of you are probably thinking whats so embarrassing about this, but everyone made a big deal out of it! My friends were all like hugging me and stuff which i wouldn't have cared if the person who served it wasn't like laughing and making a big deal out of it.. plus everyone pretty much saw and i could tell he felt really bad, but it was just kind of embarrassing to have everyone looking at me and making a big deal out of it.
I said i was fine and just kept playing.. but i literally felt like he broke me head off.
He served is really really hard and like straight for me (on accident) and i wasn't expecting it so that makes it a lot worse now.
So my neck snapped back and it really truly did hurt. But, my head hurt really bad and it felt like i had a concussion which maybe i do but it also hit my jaw really hard so now my teeth and ear hurts and every time i swallowed something popped in my ear which was really painful. 

I hopefully am not hurt which i dont think i am but there is a possibility.

My First Homecoming Experience!

Hey everyone

Long long long time no chat

It's just a busy life isn't it?

Well here's to my first homecoming!!!!

Well at our school we have to decorate walls. Each class has to decorate a wall by a theme.. Our theme was 90's and then during skit night they choose who got 1st-4th. Pretty simple

Our class had a lot of trouble deciding what we were going to do and blah blah blah.. We argued a lot. Ditched ideas. And I personally didn't participate. That's just not my thing, I'd much rather help with actually getting the work done than coming up with a plan. So we figured out for our wall we would do a Tarzan theme and then a dinosaur breaking trough the volleyball net. Don't ask me. It wasn't the best idea haha. And for our skit about 8 of my classmates decided to do a choreographed dance to 90's songs. We decorated the wall for like 2 weeks during our one class, which still included a lot of arguing. so yes. it was just an argue fest.

Then there was the dressing up, where you dressed up each day to a theme for each class. We had a farmer theme one day, neon day, punk rock, and another one i cant remember. And then the last day is pride day, which is just a time to wear school clothes but it's not an occasion.. everyone wears school clothes every day haha we are NOT  a fancy school.

We also have a football game which i feel like is the same with every school. I did have fun at the game, it wasn't TOO cold and Lyssa and I had a lot of fun together.

After the game, we have the homecoming dance which i was planning on going to. But, my dress didn't come.. so i just wasn't in the mood. Everyone told me to go but i just didn't want to, some of my friends just were bugging me, i didn't have my dress and lastly i hate dancing, dances, and anything to do with dressing up. Its almost sad haha

Well that was my homecoming experience, it was a success overall but i still think people just don't get into it as much as when my sister was in school..

My First Time Fishing This Year.

I know its sad but i've only gone fishing once this year.
It's getting really cold so i probably wont be going again.
But i did go fishing, my dad took my brother and sister and her boyfriend and I and we all went to a pond that my dads friend owns.
It was really fun, and i love fishing!
Sadly none of caught anything except my dad.
But you could see the fish swimming in the bottom since the water was so clear!
I had a lot of fun, and i did get a couple of bites but i still appreciate the time we got to go!
